Pagans don't wear sandals!

 "Woe unto Miami"
Back to Full Blog

In reliving a dream I had a few years ago, I wrote this to put it into an esoteric prose. It isn’t hard to imagine that the next attack will be as the new president organizes his government. Look at your hand, and see the truth. It is as easy as a CEO, floating down on his golden parachute. In my dream, I know where, and when, I don’t know how. Tis the ides of March, dear people. Woe unto Miami.

The Saints came hard to the evening of insanity. There was engulfing smoke from the harbor view. Toys of the palace heirs were swept from their moorings, thought too blessed to fall. Swarming smoldering vapors that vilified breathing, sent the postulates to the canals. Water became fire, and fire became the air. The air had a travesty of fumes, burnt into its soul. The slots of canal water boiled over into the streets of people. Smells of burning flesh stained the airs of humanity. Beaches, from the multitudes of wealth, became bond fires, sending refuge to the shelters of beckoning tribunals. The unthinkable strains to all of the Gods, lit incendiary moats, entrapped, by the gangs of heartless vengeance. A farther search for the father imagines a desert of reason from the heart of hell.

That is when I saw the boats.

From all compasses they came, loaded to violence, rushed the holocaust and planted the seeds of an ending. The American lower land exploded! The senseless bile of living was no more a sage than the winner of American Idol, as small consequence became the a guest to the great. Trivial pursuits had become the Mastodon in the kitchen of the American dream. The biggest sense of the people really was the infliction of corporate and its mentors. Preoccupied with celebrity, the people don’t see what is happening to them.
The old ones, vesting in the great American scam, are about to lose it all because they cannot afford to lose it! The kings got them into the party; now, they’ll let them sink!
Don’t you know by now, why they love you? Swords to the Bull’s brain are not felt by subsidiaries of the rich, while they devastate the minimals, a mere hiccup in the train of corporate sluggishness.
Meanwhile, the long-laid plans for a retribution are in place. As the new king sleeps to fill his cabinet with minds, the plotters are motivated to strike. Confusion talks from many sides, hearing only the mandates, seeing just the sunshine, knowing but the good. This is the time when evil waits to bend the March of violence upon the unsuspecting hordes.

That is when I saw the boats.

JOE: HELLO.

"Beware the Ides Of March", my friend.

GLAD ya' saw the BOATS!

TallPockets once had a small rowboat in his favorite lake to do some fishin'. Bluegills and Crappie.

Suddenly, he noticed some lake water leaking INTO his small row boat.

TallPockets, being the BRILLIANT thinker and problem solver that he is, took out his trusty Boy Scout Knife and carved another small HOLE in the OTHER end of the boat.

WHY, you ask, Joe?

So the water could run BACK OUT!!!

WINK.

Yours in brilliance?

My BEST to you and yours,

TallPockets.

JOE: On a much more SERIOUS note --

How far are you and yours from PARKERSBURG, Iowa where the TORNADO hit? SIGH.

My BEST,

TallPockets.

Whit,
I think I wrote about the dream before.
I saw an episode of CSI Miami. When I saw
this canal-like inlet, it brought the
dream back to me. I must have seen it
sometime because I don't know Jake about
Miami. It was strange so I thought I
ought to put it down.
In the dream, I was in one of the boasts.
YIKES! I don't need Cuba!! I ain't no terrorist!
I hope we don't get hit, but I suppose
everybody has it on their mind these days.
Scary stuff,
Joe

Tall Pockets,
We are in the SE corner of iowa.
We were suppose to get hit, but
were spared. Those poor people
were devastated!
I hope they can rebuild. They
should rename the town "Hope".

Tall Pockets,
That's a good one, man.
Sounds like something i might think of!
I get a little skittish on the water, with
a lot of deep wtaer under me. My brother
thought I should join the Navy like he did.
"No way, buddy," I told him. "I want land
under my feet! I ain't fish food!"
That's one of the things that scared the hell
out of me about the dream. I was IN one of
the boats. NO WAY!

Very interesting, Joe.

I wonder what the boats mean?

People coming to invade? Coming to rescue us?

I am going to think about this....

thank you for the courage you took to share this with us...

AZRON,
I used the boat line to signify an attack.
I don't understand all of it. You know how
dreams are! What was frightening, and what
woke me up was, I was IN one of the boats!

I don't like deep water! I don't like what
I can't understand! I don't like terrorists!
I don't like this dream either.
Come to thiunk of it, this post sucks!

June,
Yeah, I put this up, in case it happens I guess.
You know how somne dreams are so realistic, they
scare the hell out of you? It must be on my mind.
Thanks to our brilliant president, we are not safer
these days.
I hope I haven't, unduly, scared anyone. Remember,
IT'S ONLY A DREAM!

Joe,

I think that the boats were about 'rescue'. That is my take. So your dream is a warning to us - and you were warning us about the impending disaster. I just posted a blog about worry, would like to hear your views

Hi Joe,

I never really took much stock in the words, "it's only a dream." Many times in my life, it's been my dreams or nightmares that have pointed out whatever was bothering me subconsiously........much better than getting hit over the head with a 2 x 4 in real life because I was too dim witted to get it!

If it doesn't, I'll be very, very happy!

AZRON,
I think I'm probably feraful of the future.
It could be about my recent return of the
Big Guy, Cancer.
Outwardly, I try to be optomistic about the
future. There must be some underlay of worry.
Yeah hey, let's psychoanylize my dream?

"All right, Mr Coleman, let's try to analyze this
esoteric message of yours. Tell me, do you think
this is an attack on our country?"
"Well Doc,

There will be wars and rumors of wars.
I did a dream blog today
and came here to find you had too.
Funny that.
We must have like minds,
or are in the same boat.

This dream was one of those
you hope goes away. I would
rather have time pass it by
without recognition.

WP,
Boats of a feather huh? I've always wondered
about my dreams. It's Facinating the way they
construct. I sear sometimes I'm having some-
one elese's dream because I have no idea what
they're about, or the who the people are in
them! all I know is they are very relaistic.

Joe,
Just think on the dreams.
Your mind will reveal
who 'they' are to you.
Mine too are realistic.
When you wake, think about who
was with you, and then why.
The answer will come,
Sometimes it will surprise you.
I have never jotted them down,
dreams are not 'solids',
they are workings in progress
of our creativity and problem solving.

WP,
I'm beginning to think it is more an inward glance than
a psychic moment. The more I think about it, the more I
believe I AM MIAMI!
You sparked the reasoning in me. Thank you,
Joe

Joe:

I'm inclined to think that all of us Americans have a deep seated fear that some day we may wind up on that proverbial "Slow boat to China" brought on by those little "Made in China" labels that began appearing on those Cracker Jack toys back in the fifties...I know I do, but after much thought I've come to the conclusion that "Hey it beats walking"! For now, I think we all are aboard the "white knuckle express" as we cautiously approach the gas pump! Pop'

joe,

Thanks for the great post. You mention Miami, and my thoughts turn to Cuba. For some reason though, I have an uneasy feeling about the situation with Iran. Maybe it is just me, but I have a feeling that something will happen before the Bush administration leaves the White House.

I seldom if ever remember a dream. but I have had a couple of dreams in my life that struck me as prophetic and left me frightened.

Fortunately none of them ever came true.

Anexplorer,
I was awakened by this dream.
But dreams are funny and I think June
has convinced me that it isn't nec-
essarily, about terrorism. It may
be about my own terrorism.
I hope that's the explanation.

Big Al,
I have that feeling too.
But it's getting too late
for Bush to stay on. He
has 200 days.
I can't imagine him leaving
without making a bigger
MESS!

lalepop,
Hang on baby! It's gonna be a bumpy ride!
I think that is the thinking today, Pop.
It isn't very comforting, but at least I
don't have too far to fall!
